About Us

Beautiful Photo Studio is a family owned and operated photography studio located in Spokane, Washington. Our studio is located in the ballroom of the historic Undercliff Mansion on Spokane’s South Hill.

The studio features several indoor and outdoor shooting areas, including a private courtyard, tower, and the beautiful landscaping of the mansion.

Our family makes the studio run. Together, we strive to create lasting, emotional images of your family.

Our team includes:

Christopher Wooley (Photographer/Manager): Christopher has a technical and artistic approach to photography. He uses his knowledge of classical, theatrical, and contemporary lighting to create fun and emotional images. Additionally, Christopher does graphic design, writing, and editing for the studio. Christopher also teaches several classes on photography in the Spokane community.

Lawrence Wooley (Photographer/Marketer): Lawrence’s fascination started in 1969 with his great Grand Father’s white Polaroid camera; It was just plain magic.  As High School arrived so did his natural obsession with photography.  Professional Aerial Photography took the front burner in 2000. Then, with numerous requests, Lawrence and Tia opened FlyByFoto Studio in Omak, WA.  As the studio expanded to Spokane, they changed the name of the studios to "Beautiful Photo Inc.," which also brought on his oldest son Christopher Wooley into the family business.

Tia Wooley (Lead Editor/Presentation): Tia does most of the portrait editing and ordering for the studio, along with the portrait composition during the creation process with families or young children. She works closely with the studio’s photographers to ensure their vision is portrayed in each portrait presented to our customers. Tia consults with clients, helping them to make decisions on the artwork they prefer for their home or office.

Callie Bley (Intern): Callie attends Lewis and Clark high school. She has been doing photography for about 4 years and has always been interested in art. She is the photo editor for Lewis and Clark's yearbook and has been doing the program for 3 years. Callie would someday love to become a fashion or still life photographer for Vogue or other popular magazines.
